Account Executive – Midwest

What You Do

As an Account Executive at Symphony Industrial AI, you will be responsible for taking a consultative, solution selling approach to find, develop and grow new customers for SI.AI’s platform and solutions. You will also be responsible for implementing and executing effective sales and services strategies, ensuring maximum penetration to meet and exceed your targets.

You will work across technical and functional stakeholders to drive new revenue and manage relationships with key executives (CDO, COO, CIO, etc.) in the customer organization. You will employ your understanding of industrial value chains, equipment and processes combined with your knowledge of modern digital technology to construct solutions with compelling financial and technical value propositions. You will facilitate customer success based upon customer-specific needs, managing expectation and effectively leveraging diverse internal resources and extended team members.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, over-achieving hunter who flourishes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and close new customers for Symphony Industrial AI’s platform and solutions
  • Develop and execute on account plans to deliver maximum revenue potential
  • Execute enterprise sales cycles by aligning key technical and functional stakeholders at various levels in the organization
  • Create strong new business pipeline and deliver accurate forecasts
  • Sell our vision to prospects through product demonstrations, events and target-specific initiatives
  • Coordinate and work with extended team members
  • Work closely with customer success and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction

Required Experience & Skills

  • A minimum of 8 -10 years of on-quota, enterprise software applications sales experience; IIOT and/or industrial software sales experience a plus, as is on-demand/SaaS sales experience
  • A proven track record of hunting and developing robust new territories
  • A history of selling licenses/subscriptions to large, complex organizations with demonstrated ownership of all aspects of territory management
  • Skilled at negotiating business terms with senior management and/or C-level executives
  • History of consistent quota over-achievement in highly competitive markets
  • Experienced selling into Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Chemicals and other process manufacturing industries
  • Ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment
  • Teamwork and good communication skills a must
  • Four-year university/college degree or equivalent experience required

    Preferred
  • Startup experience
  • Sales experience with IIOT software and on-demand/SaaS
  • An existing relationship network in our target markets to accelerate prospecting and growth
